Clearly, the leader in bread making machines, in my opinion, is the Zojirushi bread machine, and their model, Home Bakery Supreme BBCCX20 is the winner hands down. This model is so versatile that it produces not only the best tasting bread of various types, but it acts as a portable oven and can even cook a meat loaf. The machine is very affordable and is a welcome addition to every kitchen, whether you are a beginner or an expert chef.
How would you like to awaken in the morning to the aroma of freshly baked bread? This can happen in your kitchen if you have the Zojirushi bread machine because this innovative machine is programmable up to 13 hours. You can prepare bread overnight using the timer function, or if you prefer, the Quick Bake cycle will put out a loaf of delicious bread in 2 hours, from start to finish.
Most bread machines that you see make a vertical or a square loaf of bread, but not this one. The old fashioned, rectangular shaped, 2 pound loaf of savory bread is produced and can be sliced as you used to. Plus you also have the option to make the crust light, medium, or dark…just the way that you prefer! Don’t be concerned either with the size of the machine – it is very compact and will fit just about any where on your counter while it quietly produces nutritional mouth watering treats, including meals.
The Zojirushi bread machine comes with full instructions, letting you know how to set up your own programs, and also a video to show you how to use it. Plus, it comes with recipes, and for your convenience, you can visit the Zojirushi website and take advantage of the many additional recipes provided there for your use. Take advantage of the free shipping on some models and the reduced prices by buying now.

I bought this machine along with the “Gluten Free Bread Classics” recipe book from Amazon.
My husband is on a gluten free diet and I can make delicious loaves of bread for him with this machine and using the cookbook.
But, my sons also love the conventional breads made in the Zojirushi BBCCX20 (and I do too!)
We’ve made whole grains, quick breads, fruit and nut, sandwich bread, you name it!
It looks like a regular oven baked loaf of bread.
The machine is like a little factory, going from one process to the next and expertly producing a beautiful loaf of bread.
I’ve seen bread made from other bread machines before and I was not impressed at all. That’s why I hesitated so long before finally deciding on this brand and model. I read the reviews on Amazon and you all did a good job, I absolutely love my new bread machine!

This is only my second week of ownership of this fine product but already I’ve made:
White Bread
Country Egg Bread
Croissants
Cinnamon Rolls
Italian Bread Sticks
Dutch Apple Cake
Everything has been absolutely fantastic! I didn’t realize that bread actually had a great taste! The whole family has enjoyed this machine. The book has many recipes that are very simple to follow. Throw the ingredients in the pan, close the lid and turn it on, that’s it! Perfect every time.
And, it couldn’t be easier to clean. A dab of dish soap, fill the pan with warm water and let it sit for about 20 minutes then simply rinse. No scrubbing or scraping.
I was a little put off by the price but read many reviews and finally decided to go with this machine and I am confident now that I made the right decision. This is a great machine. If you don’t have the money to buy this machine keep saving until you do. I couldn’t imagine a better, easier bread maker. And it’s healthy too!

We’ve had our Z machine for just over a week. Prior to our Z, we had never owned a bread machine, nor were we bread bakers. Now, we’re making a loaf a day! We love it! We’ve made several types using the recipes provided and also found a couple on the internet that were fast favorites. We read hundreds of reviews from various sites before deciding on the Zojiruishi. It was a little more expensive, but worth every penny. By reading the various reviews we also learned valuable “breadmaking” tips. Add vital wheat gluten to get a higher loaf. Adjusting the amount of yeast and water temperature will also give great results. We use the lighter crust setting for a softer, lighter loaf no matter what type we are making. We have not had a bad loaf yet. The blades are easy to remove once the bread has baked and clean-up is a breeze. This has turned into a family event! Lots of fun deciding which to try next and the kids love measuring and adding the extra’s. We were also pleased with the versatility in not only making great loaves of bread and doughs, but also jams, cakes and even a meatloaf! (I will update once we’ve tried the jam recipes.) The timer setting is wonderful – waking up to the aroma of fresh baked bread is sure to put a smile on your face and start your day off right!

This little machine is quite the performer and Zojirushi does a great job of explaining how to use it.
It’s quiet and efficient. It’s loaded with features that make it so much nicer than my old Breadman.
For example, it preheats the ingredients to ensure proper rising of the bread. It also keeps the bread on warm after baking to prevent sogginess. Also the paddles are designed in such a way as to reduce the probability of becoming embedded in the bread.
Plus the bread is so dang GOOD !!

I went from not knowing if I even needed a Bread machine to not wanting to live without it! This is a very easy to use, robust machine that pops out great bread after bread. It is not small, so think about counter and cabinet space, but because the loaf is horizontal, it is not as tall as some of the others. The bread is kneaded with 2 pedals, so the loafs are nice and evenly shaped, especially when you are making sourdough loafs involving a sponge. There is the availability of 3 custom cycles to totally customize based on your own recipes, but the pre-programmed cycles cover a large variety of applications. The machine is very easy to clean and handle. I recently read that the King Arthur Flour folks use this machine exclusively in their test kitchen. I can certainly understand why.

Too costly. I bought it from Amazon two months back. If you are a newbie don’t forget to get the manual.
